Gina Meyer, LMSW | Founder of Holding Space Therapy
Hi, I’m Gina
I’m a licensed master social worker providing therapy exclusively for adult women, with a focus on midlife and beyond. Having navigated changes in my own life, I understand how important it is to be heard, validated, and understood.
My style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I draw from evidence-based approaches, tailoring therapy to your individual needs and pace. My goal is to help you gain greater insight and practical tools you can use in everyday life.
Ten years as a hospice social worker deepened my understanding of grief, caregiving, family dynamics, and finding meaning during times of uncertainty.
Something that became clear to me was how little many of us are taught about perimenopause and menopause. Too often, we were expected to push through without the information or words to make sense of what we were experiencing. My practice is a part of changing that. As a member of The Menopause Society, I’m committed to ongoing learning about perimenopause, menopause, and women’s emotional well-being.
Together, we’ll explore ways to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. It would be an honor to hold space for you
